Fish Husbandry, Loch Melfort
Overview:
An entry-level position in Aquaculture, the key responsibilities include: fish welfare monitoring, fish feeding, assisting with treatments, equipment maintenance and harvesting to work at our Loch Melfort production area, next to our main HQ base.
Ideally you would have some fish husbandry experience and/or training in aquaculture or a relevant industry. Candidates with formal boat training will be at an advantage, and a driving licence is essential.
Our sea site roles all receive extensive training, which is paid for you by Kames, allowing you to grow fast in your aquaculture career, and the training provided will lead to other opportunities within Kames for personal growth and development.

The Detail:
We offer an excellent financial package depending on experience, with a salary of £23,000 to £25,000.
Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota. We offer a bonus scheme, pension, training and birthday off.
